02Frisco
Master-planned communities, top-rated Frisco ISD schools and serious amenities, including The Star (Dallas Cowboys world headquarters) and PGA of America's headquarters. A strong mix of new construction and established neighborhoods.
03Prosper
Where Frisco shoppers go for more land and more house for the money. Larger lots, custom builds and resort-style communities like Windsong Ranch and Star Trail.
04Celina
Rural charm meeting rapid growth on the northern edge of the corridor. Some of the most affordable new construction and land in North Dallas, with communities like Mustang Lakes, Light Farms and Legacy Hills.
05McKinney
A historic downtown square, a wide range of prices and a real community feel. Favorites include Craig Ranch, Stonebridge Ranch and Painted Tree.
06Plano
Established and central, with major employers like Toyota North America, Liberty Mutual and JPMorgan Chase. Legacy West is one of the most walkable areas in DFW.
07Allen
Between Plano and McKinney on US-75, with Allen ISD, established neighborhoods and shopping at Watters Creek.
08Also worth a look
- Little Elm: lake access and communities like Union Park.
- Aubrey: newer communities like Sandbrock Ranch with a wide-open feel.
- Anna and Melissa: newer builds at lower price points along US-75.
